為了使四沖程正常工作,氣門和噴油嘴的動作必須與活塞的四個沖程中的每一沖程發(fā)生直接的關系。進氣門、排氣門和噴油嘴通過凸輪隨動臂或挺桿、椎桿、搖臂和氣門十字頭由凸輪推動。凸輪軸由曲輪軸進行推動,這樣,曲軸的轉動控制了凸輪軸的動作,而凸輪軸又控制了氣門的開關次序和噴油時間(燃料供給)。
